Why we built Unwhu

When I first started thinking about Unwhu, I wasn't thinking about technology or platforms. I was thinking about frustration — mine, and everyone around me.

Getting your car cleaned properly shouldn't be complicated. But it is. You either drive somewhere and wait, or you settle for someone who shows up with a bucket and no real standard. The experience felt stuck in another era.

At the same time, I kept meeting incredibly skilled, hard-working valeters who were struggling to build sustainable livelihoods from their craft. No visibility, no consistency, no infrastructure to support them.

That's the gap Unwhu is built to close.

We're not just building a booking app. We're building a new infrastructure for vehicle care — one where the standard is consistent, the experience is effortless for the customer, and the opportunity is real for the professionals delivering the service.
